Every 100 years Bobb, we were due for a pandemic, hence the exercise 4 yeras ago. Again, please do some homework,
Whatever one thinks of the many and varied Politicians, advisers, scientists etc and of course the millions of people who have worked hard through this year to keep the Country going, only a block of stone would fail to understand how utterly exhausted many are and appreciate the emotions of sheer relief that a brighter light now shines towards the future.
Well said, mamyalynne.
Absolutely agree, very well said mamya x

Yes, your making full use of hindsight.

Maybe every 100 years on average for apandemic ( tho that seems far too high, more like 40-50 looking at Hong Kong flue and Spanish flue) ) but its only a guide- could be 20 years or 120 before the next, certainly cant predict it to within a few years.

Should we really spend 10s of billions of pounds every year on stock's of masks, gloves etc knowing most will get outofdate before there needed so will get thrown out .
Naomi was right too, a very nasty post
Well said Mamya
Agreed mamy.

No way would I flog myself and take all that flack from the media and I would certainly want at least double a salary of £150,000 a year for it.
1744 A first class comment from Mamya.
It was 'only a block of stone would fail to understand ………… ' that got to me, extremely well put.
Deserves a BA but the OP has a habit of saying stuff and then not coming back to answer her critics !!!
And rarely posts but when she does ??
Agreed Mamyalynne. Mistakes have been made but its been the same in many countrys and peopel like hancock have been working night and day 7 days a week getting lots of stick, and even when we act so quickly on vaccinnes some are still looking to blame rather than say well done

Oh be quiet Bobbie, unlike you I don’t require AB to improve my life. I’m happy enough with my thread thanks .
Unlike me?
You rarely post anything but by God you sweep in with bile loads
The day I take notice of you .......Scotland will get their independence , haha
Thats not a nice comment about bobbisox annasquith, unecessry, says more about you than about Bobbisox
Seriously she doesn't bother me at all bobbinwales , she's a very bitter individual
Oh you be quiet asquith, all you do is vent your spleen, regularly!! Ignore her now Bobbie, you are better than that.
Yeh, I'm out of here:0)))
18.58 Bobbinwales. Preparation is the key to success. If you anticipate a situation then you're already halfway there.
You can spend a few million on keeping up to date stock to what is the normal procedure year in year out, or have to shell out 12 billion panic buying and throwing it all in the bin. But there again it was a good excuse to award contracts to companies with links to ministers.
I see miss goody goody is accusing everyone of being a bitter individaul once again, because they have a different view. Won't be long before she go's running off again to see if she can muster up some more attention.
Nearly forgot Bobbinwales, don't forget the unknown billions their going to pump into HS2, wonder how many ministers have some links to that?
