Scotland's First Minister took to social media to express her joy at the 'milestone' in the world's fight against coronavirus.

Sturgeon wrote on Twitter: "Got a bit of a lump in the throat watching this.

"Feels like such a milestone moment after a tough year for everyone.

"The first vaccines in Scotland will be administered today too."

It comes as Sturgeon confirmed more than two million Scots will leave the highest level of coronavirus restrictions on Friday.

emmie, ok so he was tearful, no doubt with relief at the vaccinations starting. Not sure why the OP appears to be sneering at this. I'd rather have a government with feelings that one with not. It seems the nasty left once more can't help spitting bile.
