Agree Anne, think we should drop the "Great" from Great Britain. Run by a bunch of hooray henrys who don't give a monkeys for anyone but themselves.
A GE would have solved all this but Boris is hog-tied by the wretched FTPA 2011. it is in the Opposition's interest to delay a GE as long as possible so that they can run amok until the inevitable Tory landslide.
Are you suggesting that there is no impartiality of judges ? At least when delving into political matters ?
As if rule by elitist Brussels bureaucrats wasn't bad enough, we now have rule by even more elite judges and perhaps more importantly, people who can afford the best lawyers.
You must be in your element, jim.
How disgusting that judges are dismissed as "enemies of the people". If this case had gone with government I would not have been a bit surprised, but it would hardly imply that the judges were in the PM's pocket.

Read the full judgement, and decide for yourself. As a matter of law, in the end, the prerogative to prorogue Parliament does not exist without limits, and cannot be used to undermine the concept of Parliamentary Sovereignty. That is all that the case comes down to.

Danny, by all means you put the blame on anyone you wish. This fiasco lies with the government .
the rule of law returns to England, eh? (note to anne: the Scottish courts got there first)
There we go........ blaming the judges now despite a unanimous decision.
annea; //This fiasco lies with the government .//

No, it lies with parliament The government are simply trying to do what the majority of the country wants & has voted for.
Yes jno, as we north of the border know, the Scots will always get there first. Judicial system second to none.
maggie, "Agree Anne, think we should drop the "Great" from Great Britain." - oh dear, the "great" is not an adjective.
"Run by a bunch of hooray henrys who don't give a monkeys for anyone but themselves. " - sounds like wee jimmy, currently ignoring the outcome of two referendums!
Not sure what he should do now ,stay in the USA, come home and dig his ditch, lie down in front of the bulldozers , or disguise himself as the incredible hulk and hope no one recognizes him . but then again he could always blame Dominic Cummings. PMSL.
Ttt. Try staying on topic .
I think the Toerag BoJo should resign immediately and take the rest of his a*** lickers with him.
"Danny, by all means you put the blame on anyone you wish. This fiasco lies with the government ."

how so ?....remind me who first decided that the 17.5million who voted to leave should be ignored and brexit need stopping at all cost...tell us who it was that gave MPs a platform to also ignore the wishes of 17plus million voters who won a legal and democratic vote
My opinion is he WILL resign.
I don’t think anyone expected a unanimous verdict and the judge’s words were - I think “excoriating” describes it well.
Put it this way, no honourable politician would survive such a ruling.
Maybe he’ll steal back across the Atlantic with Greta Thunberg ...
You can wriggle as much as you want TTT, but please stick to the facts. Scotland has nothing to prove, we have always known we are superior.
ich, you up for a bet? £20 that the PM does not resign before 1st Nov.
This ruling as not come as ant surprise, but it just proves the the law is an ass, since an earlier English court ruled that it was not unlawful.
NB. 11.38. This post is not TCL, it’s easy to confuse the usernames .
