// Lawyers representing a Syrian boy who was attacked at school have served a legal letter at Tommy Robinson’s home in an attempt to sue him for defamation.

The anti-Islam activist posted a series of videos and Facebook posts about the incident in October.

The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, has been summonsed to court for alleged assault.

The teenager had shared numerous posts from Mr Robinson’s Facebook account in the months before the incident, as well as from Britain First and other far-right accounts. //

One of the drawbacks of accepting £millions in donations from gullible far right but jobs, he is now worth suing.

Thanks for the links ABers.
I didn’t bother with a link as I had copy and pasted the reverent details.
The AB policeman seems to have forgotten how to use Google!!

What can one say? Not a lot really...
can't believe he wasn't arrested for child endangerment
Question Author
Child Endangerment is an offence in the US, not in the UK.
Since Robinson’s lost, this 14 year old (Legally a child), has been subjected to abuse (from Robinsin’s Followers).
I am sure an offence has been committed. We will have to see how this pans out.

Is suing Tommy Robinson worth getting topped by the far right nut jobs you mention?
Recall Mrs Cox?

Heavens! We're off the deep end today!
Good - time to sue him...miserable ************
An opportunity to jump on to the gravy train?
I think so.
> One of the drawbacks of accepting £millions in donations from gullible far right but jobs, he is now worth suing...

I hope the case being brought is not more dependent on the target of a wealthy man,no matter how morally questionable TR may be,and instead be reliant on how 'damaged' the victim is by events.

There was a thread running here about the original incident. I seem to recall there was some doubt about who was telling the truth. Anyone remember it?
Naomi, there's been thay many threads concerning TR that I've lost track!

You would think that he was the most threatening man in the UK which of course he most certainly isn't.
The problem will be that 'Tommy Robinson' will use this action to increase his profile as a 'persecuted purveyor of the truth'.
Tommy speaks for me.
The original incident and its subsequent reporting is another example of the victimhood narrative, whereby Muslims as a group are represented as being disproportionately the victims of violence rather than the more obvious fact that they as a group (using the terrorist metric) are its main perpetrators.
ah, Tommy Robinson is a persecuted purveyor of the truth.
