Shocked.
I predict that .....

A,the appeal(that he taxpayer will pay for)is successful
&
B,she will be awarded damages.

and I bet I am right :-(
I predict that if she won her appeal there may be some parents of 8 year old kids in Manchester may make it their lifes quest to hunt her down and eliminate her.
This is a quote from her parents in the UK,"In an interview with ITV News they expressed concern for her mental health and said her child had "every right" to grow up in the "peace and security" of the UK."

Their daughter said the Manchester bomb outrage was fair retaliation by the same organisation she prostituted herself to.
What's clear is that Begum was a child victim of brainwashing and radicalisation before leaving the UK, and she is still. Blaming her for her current state is, to some extent at least, blaming the victim because she is to some extent a victim - she was radicalised as a child on our turf.

Well...there are some despicable parents out there.
Perhaps it is best to keep her away from her brainwashing family?
She may come back, write a book and make money.
Who cares?
She should be allowed back for purely humanitarian reasons.
And you know I am no fan of Islam.
Right wing MP Andrew Bridgen was asked about that on the news earlier: his reply was most interesting: plainly he was of the opinion that it was illegal and illogical but he appeared to justify it on the grounds that it would be popular.

Yep. In jail if appropriate.
Any decision must be taken in the light of British law. Ignoring the law in order to pander to public opinion is a dangerous option. We don't want lynch mobs. Don't forget that one day it could be you before a baying crowd; if you like that sort of law, then go to a country that operates like that.
I care, Theland. No, she should not be allowed back. She says she became a poster girl for IS.....do we want other girls in this country to be looking up to her? To know if it goes wrong they will be welcomed back?
This country has enough to deal with without allowing her and her like to call the tune and then having to deal with the repercussions.

//Don't forget that one day it could be you before a baying crowd; if you like that sort of law, then go to a country that operates like that.//

Thats precisely the law that Begum went to visit and adopted.
The baying crowd who wait for a homosexual to be thrown off a tall buiding whilst the baying crowd wait below with stones in their hand to stone the victim to death if they survived the fall.
She supports that law and justice. Let her stay there then because we are a civilised country and have no truck with that scum
> allowed back ... welcomed back

You switched from one to other, gness. There is a difference. One is a matter of law. The other is a matter of taste. She should definitely not be welcomed back.
I'm not au fait with the law, where has the law been broken? She had dual nationality, she's just lost half of it.

I think an example should be made of her, and this country needs to make it clear, that what she has done is Not, acceptable behaviour of citizens of Great Britain.

If this was how she wanted to live her life, let her get on with it, away from our country.

She has made her bed, let her lie in it.
Oh piffle, Ellipsis! Not like you to be splitting hairs.... ;-)
She should be neither allowed nor welcomed back though if she were to be allowed back I'm sure her family would welcome her.
Exactly, Chrissa....if you read or listen to the reasons she gives for why she left then what she claims she was looking for and was promised is what this country offers us....what she and her family already had and abused.
She left for reasons she hasn't yet properly explained. That is why I wouldn't trust her were she allowed to come back.
It is reported she has dual UK/ Bangladeshi national
It’s so is not stateless
Not piffling hair splitting, gness. We may have to allow her back. It depends on her nationality. But we certainly don't have to welcome her back.

That said, there is a moral case for allowing her back as she was radicalised here as a child. That makes her a child victim of a crime.
-Talbot- i agree with some of your points - but where did you find that her parents/family brainwashed her ?
Excellent news, great to see a Home Secretary with the cojones to carry it out, fingers crossed it happens to many more too.
So, a lot of you don't care what the law says - you just want her to be treated as you think she deserves. Of course, the law would involve delving into the facts and details of the case, and that's a bit boring. But we don't throw people off buildings, we have a system of law, and I'm glad we do.
