I don't believe she was at all racist, just a bit of a nutter. But, there are some who love name calling, racist, bigot ,homophobe etc.

/// The newscaster was sarcastic about some white people's attitudes to some black people. ///

/// Am I supposed to be offended by that? ///

/// I wasn't. ///

Didn't for one moment expect you to have been, now if it had been the other way round you'd have been yelling from the roof tops. //

You'll have to define what you mean by 'the other way round', so I can confirm if I would have a view or not - I don't actually do 'yelling' anywhere, including rooftops.

// Incidentally the 'newscaster' was being sarcastic to ALL white people, not just some as you quoted. //

Since behaviour like this makes me ashemed to be white, I can live with a little dserved sarcasm aimed at people of my colour who can't behave in a civilised fashion.
Racism...pure and simple.

No -one has ever intervened when one of my kids were having a melt down in public so why feel the need to intervene when the kids were not stressed?

You are only going on what you have heard from one side of the story, no one has heard the woman's side.
Spicerack - // It's got everything to do with it. The black people in the other videos claimed they were victims of racism just like this bloke.
They turned out to be liars. Couldn't be more to do with it. //

White people make claims about racism and are liars too - 'Tommy Robinson' has made a career out of it!!

But it's not new, and it's not relevant here. Just because some other black people lied about being racially mistreated does not invalidate this gentleman's claim that he was racially mistreated.

The facts are there - on film - the woman's side is likely to be that she was 'concerned about the safety of the children'.

What else do you think she would say?
Enjoy going around the Mulberrybush.

/// We need to train baby sitters of any gender or colour to have their phone camera switched on at all times AOG. ///

His was switched on but the clippage has conveniently been selective.
How do you know?
Psychic or just very familiar with these cases.
I must have missed the reports that his phone was switched on earlier.

Regardless, I too would like to have heard the woman's story - maybe she does this on a regular basis when she sees people out with children.

We may never know.

I suggest that the gentleman did not have his phone ready to film - why would he - but when it became clear that this woman was not going to leave him alone, he felt the need to record what was happening.

I don't believe any sinister 'selective' editing is going on here.
Cue the spooky music please,

AOG know's something nobody else does.
Andy-hughes at 11:31 and 11:41, what on earth are you talking about now? I haven’t taken this thread into your personal life (you have though) and I haven’t asked you about your personal life. God knows what you imagine you’re reading but whatever it is didn’t come from me.

Sp, //think about what you’re saying.//

I’ve thought about what I’m saying. I wouldn’t have said it if I hadn’t. In that situation I’d have handled it differently and I wouldn’t have been offended in the least. I’d have thanked that lady for her concern. Not much else I can say about it really.
/// Since behaviour like this makes me ashemed to be white, ///

Be ashamed to be white, by the reporting of part of a story that took place in a car-park in America if you must, but I am not.

/// I can live with a little dserved sarcasm aimed at people of my colour who can't behave in a civilised fashion. ///

He wasn't aiming his sarcasm at those who can't behave in a civilised fashion, he was in fact aiming his sarcasm at white people as a whole.

Smoothly done, and very much to type.

When you make an appalling slur against me as a father, and I respond, you attempt to dodge the issue by pretending it's nothing to do with you, and I am making it up.

Your post is there, as is mine - so we both know who said what.

Slide away if you want - your observation was disgusting, I want no further part of discussing it with you, you should be ashamed of yourself, but you never are.
Cue more spooky music please.

We now know how a coloured male babysitter in the US thinks.

Wow, so very perceptive.

/// The facts are there - on film - the woman's side is likely to be that she was 'concerned about the safety of the children'. ///

You've got it, 'LIKELY' nothing positive then?

/// What else do you think she would say? ///

I don't know and neither do you, we all do not know what happened prior to the woman approaching the man and children in the car.

Most likely it is just another "it's because I am black" story that we constantly hear about?

We never hear white people bleating like a lost lamb;-/

Good grief, have I missed something, is it National 'flake Day?
Yep, need to arise earlier;-/
