//The result won't be the same because the question wouldn't be the same//

Haha. They asked us the "wrong" question. More Remoaner twisting in the wind antics.
If MP stands for member of the public, yes!

09,06 Local Elections are only held in London then !
Not the wrong question, just a follow up question, with added facts.
I think all this talk of a second referendum is only the voices inside the OPs head. The OP has been listening to the other remoaners and repeating it to themselves so much it has become very loud chatter in thier head.

Why not? I don't want to waste your whole weekend but, politicians are liars.
we don't need another referendum, the first was more than enough..
I think it was Harold Wilson who said 'One vote is enough'. It was a clear gap. France joined the EU by a voting majority of only 0.5% - and that was not established until the votes from the overseas territories were counted - until then they weren't going to join. So no, not another in/out referendum. We were told clearly enough that our vote would be acted on.

I'm unsure about another on the terms of any agreement as ,personally, I do not think that a general one will be reached. (Smaller understandings in areas such as research, intelligence etc. are only sensible and individual arrangements will follow.)

If the mandarins were to frame a question such as 'Accept the deal' or 'Do not accept the deal so reapply/try to stay in the EU' - then it would be devastating for this country, since no good deal will be offered - especially if remoaners carry on as they are doing. We'd be sunk.

If the question were phrased as 'Accept the deal' or 'Leave with no deal' it might possibly be acceptable in terms of fulfilling the result of the first referendum. But, as I have no faith whatsoever that that would be on offer, I will say 'No' to another referendum. The die was cast, we knew what we were doing (refer to the leaflet delivered to every dwelling in the country) we live with the result.

When you get dedicated Tory Voters who backed May in 2017, and were also staunch Brexiteers then, and are now calling for a second referendum. it says they have got no faith in May or in Brexit.
A while ago Theresa May was asked which way she would vote now, not surprisingly she refused to answer.

Jeremy Hunt was prepared to answer. He voted remain, but if voting now he would vote leave. He finally saw through Project Fear.
Oh, and he wasn't alone in the cabinet.

Liz Truss also said she would switch to leave.
It says nothing of the sort. The suggested second referendum is about the terms of exit. Actual exit is not in question.
You don't believe that do you, Jackdaw?

It's all about stopping Brexit.
You can't hold a referendum because a minority of undemocratic sore losers want a second chance at getting their own way at public exepnse ! That would be undemocratic.

Wishful thinking threads hoping to convince others that up is down, east is west, black is white, or forward is backward, can be spotted a mile off, and aren't helpful.
EXPENSE !!!
Yes I do. Brexit WILL happen, regardless. Time they got over it.

How many added facts?
Who decides on what 'facts' should be included?
Do we include alt-facts?

The original paper was easy to understand, all the "but it didn't say this and didn't say that" is nonsense.

So many voters in the referendum have now reconsidered their feelings about leaving the EU, now that the true facts and ramifications are known ,that a second referendum should take place.
