It is just Gullible talking to himself Danny.
Thank you sevenOP. It will not happen, as has been stated many times.
Heavens no, you can't hold a referendum just because people want one, that would be undemocratic.
nooooooooooo... !
jno, do we keep having referenda until certain parties are satisfied with the result?
best of 3 ? ;0)
My understanding is that these people want a say as to whether to accept the terms or not. Brexit is not in question, merely should it be a hard or soft one.

I see the Tories are also Bracing themselves for troubling Local Election results in May. You can't win them all can you.
Isn't that what you want yourself, Dannyk? You've got the result you want so the question mustn't be asked again regardless of any change of circumstance?

I think patriots might reasonably want the right to choose between whatever is on offer and what they have already. I don't think they'll be permitted that right, though.
That bit refers to elections in London. No surprise there.
It would be interesting to see how many people on here would welcome a second one.
nooooooooo..
jno, How many members of the public would welcome a second referendum?
I don't know, Dannyk, but I confess to being surprised by the story sevenOP linked to.
If we had a second referendum and the result was the same, what then, a third referendum?
The result won't be the same because the question wouldn't be the same. You could be presented with the programme the government has negotiated and asked if you want to accept it. On a matter of immense constitutional significance, I don't see anything outrageous about this.

As I said, I don't think it's going to happen.
Why don't we have a referendum to decide whether to have another referendum? Then another referendum to see if voters in the first referendum knew they were voting for a second referendum?
