Would you like to see the burka banned? I consider it a threat to national security, apart from anything else

Judging by the state of some of the women in my town, far from banning it, it should be made compulsory.
No D/B ...only those who (IMO) have a track record of anti-humanitarian irrational drivel.
Don't you think a man who makes a woman wear something against her will using religion as an excuse is a knuckle-dragging drooling anti-humanitarians too?

Given that we know many women are forced into wearing these things, whose side are you Mr Humanitarian?
Talbot - yes I do.
And down here, the men should wear Burqas, BlackAdder, just in case the women's fall off. Gloves as well to hide the six fingers.
..and FYI, I don't by my postings claim any moral high ground - I'm sure I have had some irrational anti-humanitarian opinions/reactions occasionally, no-one's perfect.
And whose side are you on?
Mine.
Where is AOG when you need some calm rational input into the debate?
I thought it would be quite a dilemma for you, AP
Not at all but thanks for the concern :-)

When the two burka wearing women ignored me, I didn't thing ignorant moo's. I actually felt sorry for them, it cannot be a great existence not having the freedom to talk to whomever you wish.

Perhaps it's best to pretend it is not happening, I remember many, many, women often walked into a door in the 1970'S
There was no domestic abuse back then, oh no!
He's got his work cut out :-)
And Yes, I should like to see it banned in public.
While I agree with your sentiments Answerprancer, I always think it is a mistake to start name calling. Those on here who are unable to take part in a reasoned inyeligent debate, will just see this as an excuse for a ruck.

But, yes, it is common sense but as I never tire from remarking, common sense isn't always popular, especially when it gets in the way of a good old rant.
...dah, maybe you're right (as in 'correct'). It's just that seeing the same names popping up rankles with me a bit.
Have a rant at the D Mail AP. That'll make you feel better;-)
...and no one liked a "a good old rant" more than Aneurin Bevan.
