shaney, well who do we blame for the balls up that is the EU, the EEC that was, all of them, they have allowed this free transition of people's across Europe, not taking into account whether it would, could ever work.
Working is one thing, but you have to take into account all the things that one worker may or will need, if they have children, it's schools, if they get sick, that's hospital, GP, and if they have no where to live the councils are duty bound to help. So the one worker who could be beneficial to Britain could have ten dependants, who will need looking after in one way or another.

Considering the intermingling and cooperation of those ethnic groups over the past 500 or so years, accelerating with the industrial age and the internal migration from countryside to cities, these are distinctions with little real relevance.

We can all identify which of the Home Nations we were born into, but there are few Britons without a mix of ethnicity in their blood.

And in terms of interdependence; it was the British Empire (not English) British industry, British Ingenuity and The British Army that made this a prominent nation.

Em. My husband was born to Russian Parents. He obtained his British Nationality when he was 10. He calls himself British. Quite simple.
