I have supported him for a long time, but am beginning to wonder, my question now is; Is he a jerk?

and i am sure they are, what interests me is if Eton is so bad why do so many want to go there, also getting a good education from anywhere is a good goal in life
emmie I notice as usual that diddly didn't answer your question at 06.39 about type of school she went to after she said earlier at 13.23 that you didn't answer a direct question. One rule for her and another for everyone else it seems.
yes that is the case. I couldn't care less what school she went to, Eton is a good school, the stats bear it out.
I'm off to bed. Not slept yet. Busy afternoon ahead.
Speak later. Take care.
The thing with diddly is that if you have a different point of view to her then you are wrong and nothing you say will change her mind.
bye theland,

i know that, but one can only try. wonder if she went to Uni
And eating Eton Mess is the pinnacle of University life,
unless you can row a boat ;-/
I have had Eton mess, delicious it was too, morning 1ozzy
I too like a destroyed Pavlova
cause I'm not very good at making them
Eating them is nice
using the ingredients you like
yes lovely way to make a mess, eat one of those.
My perception of Johnson is that he is someone who is only interested in power and is lacking leadership. He doesn't care about his appearance and slouches around at times on the benches in the commons. Sometimes he looks as though he's just turned up to light the boiler. A strong leader would not dance on strings like a puppet, as Johnson does with V&W. Because of that, lots of people are facing financial hardship. He's not a leader or a statesman. And whilst he's being dangled on strings, the whole country is facing financial ruin.
Wot? Who could do any better? SKS? Labour? Totally irrelevant because cometh the hour, cometh the puppet. And where we should be glued to supporting the govt action, instead we're stuck with it. Hey ho.
we went past that 10cs, but hey for now he is still leader of the party, country.
If others can do better let them throw their hats in the ring
Johnson still dances like a puppet with V&W. That is now, emmie. What have we "been past"?
we were discussing schooling as Diddly still hasn't said where she went, i was asked and responded...
you don;t like him, nor do many, but we got past that so i thought.
We're not past it, emmie. It is what it is.
as i said many don't like him, but he got the job, and now has to man up, if he doesn't do it, then someone should take over the reins
10ClarionSt, when you say "Johnson still dances like a puppet with V&W" isn't that what he is supposed to do and listen to the medical and scientific advice. I know he doesn't listen to it all but that is what they are there for, to give advice.
Back to your earlier questions Emmie for fear of being accused of not answering them - I went to a state grammar school and to university. My children went to an excellent state comprehensive and to university - they couldn't have done any better if they'd been to Eton or similar and they probably wouldn't be such lovely people.
