asda, best price, good food, good choice
I tend to use asda and tesco, they are both good, some things are better in one than the other.

I find sainsburys expensive and lack choice, I dont have a morrisons near me
i'm a fan of Asda, prices, quality and choice all spot on!

We use Tesco for on-line and cant be bothered to go out and shop.
Morrisons beat Tesco hands down however.
Thus we alternate between the two.
week one - Tesco online
week two - push trolley around morrisons
Hi shelly -
Aldi for fruit/ continental foods/ bread
Tesco for baking ingredients
Asda for basic all round foods - tinned stuff/ toilet rolls ect...
lidls
Always go direct to wallmart when in the USA however...buy the cheap cloths for the holiday or trip..I love wallmart
yep lidls and aldis are great maybe not have everything that people want!, but fantastic value!!!,
I'm single, so only have to shop for myself, although I love cooking. I normally go to tesco's, but I tried Asda a few times when in the vicinity (none near me) and I have to admit, it's superior to Tesco's on a price/quality ratio.
Oh and of course, Lidl is excellent for precooked meats like ham, their fresh lasagne is absolutely gorgeous, and I only buy household stuff from there (cleaners, toilet fresheners..things like that). Also, I buy their pains au chocolat from the bread section, you get a bag of 8 or 10 I think for 1.30, and they are fantastic! Just pop them in the toaster for 20 seconds. Believe me, I'm French! lol

I have shopped at most of the major supermarkets but today I done my food shopping at Aldi and found the fresh produce fantastic and the price very good too. One bag of fresh apples 49p. I havent really shopped there before but I couldnt believe the quality of some of the food even though it is really cheap.
I agree, Asda has the best price, good food, good choice!
yes, tesco are more expensive than asda, asda has a lot more bargains as well (2 for 1s ect)
yep i have been shopping there for years dont you think there is a snobbery chart, like you always have someone say that shop at markies, then sainsburys, tesco morrisons and asda next then the coop somerfield, then lidl aldi and netto, sorry that i did not include waitrose as we havent got one in the vicinity! any others !!!!!
farm foods?
Iceland
I have to say, I've bought LOADS of frozen pizzas over the years. The best one, I had just yesterday!

Ham and mushroom italian style stonebaked pizza. 1.50.
It was absolutely the best frozen pizza I've had, ever. :O)
Oh sorry, forgot to say...from Iceland!!! lol
We have some nice farm shops not to far from where we live. Its about a 5 mile or 10 mile drive ..Country lanes so dont take long ...but I find them expensive ..but you do get good food from them.
