I may have missed an earlier post, but could someone please tell me if we are voting in these elections. Seems not that long ago that we definitely were not, but now TM seems to be saying that we are?

Yes
I have a card through.
It was confirmed yesterday I think.
As if there was ever any real doubt :-)
20% turn out? 10?
The highest ever I guess :-)
Yes we have our cards through the door, but finding out who the candidates are is a challenge in itself.

I finally found this, choose your region for a list.

If you go along, you will be voting for a party rather than an individual.

Although turnout is low at these elections this time I expect a higher one and a massive boost for Nigel and his Brexit party.
Oh good, there are Brexit party candidates in my region.

^ I hope there are in mine.
Feel very sorry for the Brexiteers , they thought we would have left the E/U the very next day after the Referendum and now almost three years later we are asked to vote in the European Elections. I do sympathise with them.
I feel sorry for idiots who think some people thought we would leave the E/U the very next day after the Referendum
The names of all candidates are displayed in Post Offices and for all I know other public buildings
Brexit party all the.

perhaps the ed could do a poll.
all the way ^
As I posted elsewhere 130,000 electoral register applications were received on deadline day.
The majority from younger voters. Make of that what you will.

I think the Brexit party will do well.
I have just noticed that the right to a postal vote deadline was 5pm today. Now as yet I have not been officially informed that the election is on, and have not received a voting card. Now I am away on my jollies on the 23rd May and unable to vote Brexit in person. I have, as yet, not been given the option of a postal vote. If my voting card comes say tomorrow it is past the deadline for a postal vote application. Democracy in action 2019 British style.
Will the Change UK / Independent group get a large following?
I doubt it.
They’re clamping down on postal votes y’know :-)
We’ve known there was likely to be an election on May 23 for some time now so no excuses really.
