Honestly, this website has sort of taught me something. People do like helping. People aren't all trying to screw you over. People don't want you to suffer.

From this realisation, I will hopefully share more about myself, and will try to not hide information that could help in my questions.

For example, I hid my nationality in fear that someone would somehow track me down, but now knowing the people here have their own problems, I can proudly say that I am a full blooded Australian!

You might have to be a little more explicit than that, SG, are you of indigenous parentage or, like me, a full blown Australian of English matters not to me, either way, but it would help to understand some of your problems.

Next you, like me, live in this glorious country 🇦🇺

Question Author

I am not indigenous, but both my parents were born in australia, as well as their parents. So it is safe to say I am at 100% Australian

I also live in Australia currently.

You and me both, mate !!

Australian ? Well you can't be Frank then, they're all called Bruce or Sheila downunder !

Guy, your not stupid. You've just lost faith in humanity a little.

There are good things and bad things in this world. Embrace or avoid. Generally if you see the good in folk, they see it in you.

Your 100% Australian, I'm 100% English. Welcome Cobber.

Yippeeee! another Aussie.

The nearest I can get is that I usually read The Spectator Australia every day. Can I be an honoury Aussie please?

Do you see the world up side down.

Who gives a tinkers where you are from its who you are that matters. According to my DNA I am a blooming mongrel always thought I was English  but mostly Scandinavian and Irish,  so I love the sea and could drink too much. Lucky most pubs don't sell horns of mead!

What motivates you to be honest and for others to be honest with you?

A fear of being tracked down buy a nondescript social media name and generic country smacks of underlying issues  to me. And tbh having read (and commented on) another of your threads I wonder what it is in your life has happened to make you so angcsty.

We all self edit wether dealing with ourselves or others. It is human nature. If you want to be cruel be honest 100% of the time. If you want to be selfish be honest 100% of the time. If you want to lose friends and alienate people be honest 100% of the time.

Self reflection is all fine and dandy but there is a limit others will tolerate.
