What’s your claim to fame? I don’t just mean getting a selfie with a celeb, or their autograph. Maybe you lived next door to a star, dated one, cut their hair, served them in a shop, were an extra in a movie or pop video, inspired a hit song....you get the picture

I've met the Prince of Wales on several occasions. Met the Princess Royal. Had a drink with Harry Secombe. Was on stage with Vera Lynn and Anita Harris.had a tea break with The Goons. to name but a few. at a Royal Midnight Performance at the London Palladium on Thursday 6th June 1963.

Oh dear! I had no idea I was in such connected company.
Sadly, I have never done anything noteworthy or known or associated with anybody famous enough for me to bask in their reflected glory.
Pangs of jealousy. X

oh Hughie Green bought me a gin and tonic !
Don't feel left out Theland.

I don't have a "claim to fame" either.

Sob sob.

How about you and I crack a can of lager together and drink it with our socks on one day,,,,Oooh decadent or what.
Oh, come on, Minty! Being bought a drink by Hughie Green hardly counts, does it? He was one of the countries most famous womanisers, so he probably bought a drink for every woman he met!

Dining with Gness and Sunny Dave though (and managing to stay sober enough in their company to actually remember it afterwards as well) . . . now that's REAL fame!

;-)
not me but ex employer back in the day lived next door to Marc Bolan
