Hi all, my husband took his life in the UK test today and passed. He is originally from Guyana, so he needed to pass to apply for his citizenship.

I was born in England and lived here all my life, he asked me to try a practice test online and I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I could only score 15 out of 24, this makes me wonder how many people who were born here could actually pass a Life in the UK test like this one: https://uktest.net/life-in-the-uk-test-practice.html

I passed but I only got 18, forgot to look at the wrong answers.
20 for me...and what the heck is a devolved administrator??
I don't know but presume you can get ointment for it.
Prescription or over the counter?
Norra clue ;-)
20/24
Twenty for me too.
21/24 - I didn't realise you can buy lottery tickets at 16, I thought it would be 18 like other forms of gambling.
My son bought a scratchcard on his 16th birthday and won. Can't remember how much but over £200.

I then put a ban on scratchcards.
I didn't realise there were other sets of questions.
I could of sworn that one of the former Commissioners of the Met Police was a JP as well. Obviously I was wrong.

It appears that you get a fresh set when you return and click on the link. I will settle for my 20 although I would of liked higher.
I got 18 on each of two sets of questions, so did I pass?...What is the pass mark?
21 first set 22 2nd set.
20/24
A solid if unspectacular 21 here. Some very strange questions in there. I mean, what has the vikings question got to do with the UK?
Ok, I passed...just! The pass-mark is 75%.
//The rank of Commissioner was created by the Metropolitan Police Act 1829; until 1855, the post was held jointly by two officers, but after the Metropolitan Police Act 1856 it was merged into a single post. The Commissioners were Justices of the Peace and not sworn constables until 1 April 1974.[3] The title Commissioner was not used until 1839.//

I thought that was a trick question.Alas I was still wrong.

Some questiond on correct speaking wouldn't come amiss. For example, which one of these is grammatically nonsense ?

(a) I would have won if I had come first
(b) I would of won if I had come first
(c) I would've won if I had come first
*questions - typo
