Hi! My end-of-semester exams begin tomorrow, and I forgot my study guides in my locker at school. How will I study. Oh, also, killing two birds with one stone, tomorrow is my deceased father's birthday. This will be his first birthday without him. How would I celebrate?

Wouldn't worry about the study guides. No doubt you've learnt over the semester, last minute cramming won't change much. You can commemorate the occassion by spending a short time in contemplation. Maybe treat yourself to a favourite drink or cake.

I find that looking through photographs and thinking of happy times help me on those days.
Can you access study guides on-line? However, as OG says, last minute cramming won't do much good; just take your time and everything you have learned will come back to you. Good luck.
You can remember your father by recalling the good times spent together.

// I find that looking through photographs and thinking of happy times help me on those days.//

and think of the happy times - 50% of anglos hear their dead relatives speaking to them - as I had to explain to an Iranian psychiatrist who was sent in to examine me - when they thought I was mad
no really phoop phoop crazy

but my father when he was ill really ill went sort of ....
so you have to be selective
he will say work! why dont you work!

you will have to explain that it is now all rather late and .....

and relaaaax

good luck

what subject ?

my niece failed Land Law and didnt tell her dear parents until ..... three weeks before the retake
so I was asked to get a years land law into her in three weeks - amongst my many successes - land law wasnt one

so the next year - equity - I made a study contract with her that we would meet every month at least to discuss that months lectures

a little and often - but that is for when you pass
" last minute cramming won't change much."

Nonsense. Some learn over time, others have to cram study. No one learns the same, and many different ways to remember facts and info etc..

Cram studying is a common technique.

Blake if you left your stuff at school it seems you'll have to try and find material online, or ask a classmates for some pictures of theirs.

Regarding the father, 'celebrate' how you see fit, do what feels best for you blake.
This thread is a month old, Blake finished his exams.
