40 years ago I bought a Breville toasted sandwich maker. What a waste of time, space and money. Used it three times then it got binned.

George Forman grill, juicer, spirelizer (two different sorts), three mini choppers, pressure cooker, four food processors, cake pop maker, pie maker, doughnut maker, mini sewing machine. The list goes on.

I buy these things on the back of how useful they would be, then hardly use them. They all just take up cupboard space.
I still have mine and use it

Hoover - I leave that to the cleaner - but I do know how to turn it on and unplug it
Large fruit and vegetable juicer. Took ages to clean, and made a mess with the pulp. Gave away to clog relatives cupboard.

Avocado flesher, a spoon does the same thing.
So many things on this list that I use and love, Vax, toastie maker, George Foreman grill, kitchen aid mixer, but what I hate, hate, hate is this weird potato peeler that we have that just doesn't. You're supposed to put your spuds in this bucket turn it one and it whizzes around and knocks the peel off on the rough interior, except there are always bits of peel left on them and then it takes 3 hours to clean, hateful thing.
You clearly have the wrong echo Eddie mine has a fantastic speaker
I liked my George forman grill but I always used to use it open and turn thr food over a bit like a hot plate. I used to find it cooked things too quickly otherwise. It would have been better with removable and dishwasherable plates

Some very informative replies here. People have mentioned gadgets I have never heard of. I mean, unless you are feeding the five thousand who needs a bucket potato peeler? As for the notion of a grapefruit cutter, words fail me.
