What are you all having for dinner ?

I do care, really I do. I'm not just asking this to be popular, I really really want to know what you are all having for dinner because it might influence what I have for dinner.

That is very kind of you pingu and Louisa, I have struggled through a chicken vindaloo and spinach aloo with extra fresh green chillis, but now I must return to my gloom. I do so miss her :(

pennyb04 I asked what everybody else was having for dinner. I am going to have hot tinned kippers, but that is not interesting. Any idiot can open a tin of kippers. I wanted to know what everybody else was having because it is such that keeps this site ticking.

I am indeed pining, and you are all very kind. It was such a sweet voice and a cheeky greeting. Frankly it makes silly questions about dinner pale into insignificance.

jiggy, have you really got chocolate habaneros ? Dynamite aren't they !!

Whiffey, i have a real beauty of a plant which gives me around 25 chillies 2-3 times a year depending on how sunny it is in winter. I haven't pollenated my last lot of chillies so the seeds are no good, even though they have wonderful scarlet red membranes, real scorchers! When the next lot of flowers come through i'll pollenate them (pls excuse my typing, im pished, lol) and send you some seeds to grow your own plants with full instructions?

And pine away, it does your soul the world of good, even if it hurts at the time x

jiggy, I have4 chilli plants too, great big fruits, and I've just had one chopped up in brown rice with my curry. I have Jamaican hot chocolate habaneros in the freezer and I regularly buy large handfuls of Kenyan birdseye from the Asian shop up the road. I use chopped chillies like any other condiment. Blissful heat.
