hi! if you lick the flavouring off a crisp and then put the actual crisp in the bin, is the crisp still very bad for you? I know that's a weird question lol thanks x

no.
why don't you try the entire contents of the bin? see how you get on.. ?
well that depends on what the flavouring is made of.
I would imagine so, lots of salt and artificial flavouring on the outside.
too much of that iamcarley and you will look like your father, "a chip off the old block."
its a slippery slope carly, you may end up eating the ones you lick, you may also end up binging on them. not to mention its quite a waste of money!

as long as you eat sensibly, why not ration yourself to a packet every couple of days? it could prevent you craving them

sara3 that doesn't make any sense...
and your question does?

this website is called theanswerbank, not thesarcasticanswerbank... the others who've answered seemed to understand clearly! if you're going to try to take the mickey at least make sure your remarks make sense!
right, you're talking about licking flavouring off food, putting it on the bin, then potentially eating it.

before you get smart with me, do read your own question.
I suppose you miss out on some of the fat but you also miss out on prising bits off your teeth with your tongue for ages afterwards (what some of us regard as exercise) :)
Question Author
I didn't say I was going to eat it after putting it in the bin... how thick would someone have to be to think that eating a fattening food from the bin is less bad for you???
Question Author
haha yeah you're right douglas! plus the chewing action is sure to burn more calories than licking..
It isn't bad for you because you tossed it. At least you're not licking the flavor off and sticking it back in the bag.
"and then put the actual crisp in the bin, is the crisp still very bad for you?"

a crisp in the bin is in the bin.. how can it be good or bad for you when it is in a bin?
IMO your argument, carley, is wafer thin.

I don't think you understand what I mean sara3
I think Carley should make the most of the last few days of half-term, and worry about school stuff.
Well, if you do that you`re getting the salt which is bad for you but you`re not getting the fat (which is also bad for you). Crisps are a lot lower in fat these days though.
I've read it, and that's what it says. if you'd like to explain it in some other fashion ,knock yourself out!
