Flavoured crisps are an abomination. It wouldn't be so bad if the flavours were real rather than coal tar derivatives.

I remember Smith's Bovril crisps - many years ago they did tomato sauce flavour as well. These days I prefer unsalted ones and keep piling up little blue sachets as a consequence...

why havn't they ever done a sweet version? why not chocolate flavoured crisps (unsalted of course !!!) bananas and custard -the list is endless

Try Parsnip crisps by Kettle Chips. Only trouble is they are about twice as expensive and the distribution is very poor.Few outlets stock them.

Sausage and tomato were my favourites. Unfortunately, you can't seem to get them anymore though.

I think port and stilton would be an interesting flavour to eat.

used to love Cheese Savoury Straws and also BBQ Onion. My favourite to buy just now are Ch and Onion McCoys or plain hula hoops. BUT, try making your own parsnip, sweet potato and even carrot crisps. Utterly delicious with a shake of salt on them. Home made parsnip crisps are my favourite crisps of all time. Infact, I might just make some today.......anyone want some?
