Hi. Sorry but could someone tell what this menu means and why is has such a name. Is it just a fancy name for a menu at a certain time (like a pre theatre menu) ? Thanks.

Are you sure it wasn't a restaurant that couldn't spell variety?

If it is the right word, then it's nothing special - just a name designed to appeal to students and/or their parents and/or university staff. Or masybe to attract boat race spectators.
