Lol. I really felt for that patient. You would imagine a PE teacher being the last person on earth to need heart surgery.
I don't recall, thank god, having a conversation with any of the surgeons that operated on me just before the surgery. A few jabs by the anaesthetist and Goodnight Vienna . I have had three major ops and I couldn't tell what any of the theatres looked like either.

Girl: I'm having heart surgery today.
Boy: I know .

Girl: I love you.

Boy: I love you too.

After surgery the girl wakes up and finds her father sitting in the chair.

Girl: Where is my boyfriend ?

Dad: Don't you know who gave you your new heart.

Girl: (With tears in her eyes ) Omg.

Dad : I'm just kidding, he's in the bathroom.

Just got back from hospital where I saw a vascular consultant. An extremely pleasant young man. He looked very much similar to your surgeon and Mr Bean. It was hard not to smile.
