OH has just given me a card to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Very nice of him and a lovely card but apart from thanking him and saying how pleased I am think I will stay quiet about it. He obviously grabbed the first one he saw as the card is the kind you send to a couple on their wedding day to congratulate them on their wedding.
I once gave my daughter a Christmas card on her birthday! Some inconsiderate person had put the card back in the incorrect pile and all I saw - without my 'readers' was the word Daughter. We laughed about it though I suppose the tenner inside helped.
I've had a 'personalised' birthday card with the wrong name on it, think my friend forgot to change the sample name show on the website, i thanked her but didn't say anything.
He's a man! He remembered! My husband once sent me a Valentine's card 'To One I love'. I asked him who the others were! He always remembered it.
I should just let it go.
Not going to say anything. He had to dash out to get card after I gave him one from me. Very new to him as it is only 3/4 years. I'm not sure how many.
I was riding into work early one morning and realised it was my wife's birthday that day. I was on a night's layover up North in Newcastle so I stopped off at the Newsagents outside my work and hurriedly bought a birthday card with 'Wife' written on the front. When I got to work and started writing it before my journey I realised it was a Wedding anniversary card. I just wrote Happy Anniversary on your birthday and scribbled out the wedding.
I got home the same day the card was delivered and she wasn't impressed.
