I had a mild shock today when I realised I was a year older than I thought. I knew my proper age on my last birthday but today I truly thought I was a year younger.
I think I'm on the slippery slope :(

hc, was this before or after the booze?
not half. I remind myself that i am 64 all the time, but soon within 3 weeks of being 65, crikey...
emmie, just a youngster then :-)

No.
Not at the moment. Soixante Neuf on Friday is easy to remember. Soixante Huite not so easy. :-)
Well , 111 is the new 110 , didn't you know ?
danny, thanks...
In medical terms it's called Ordinary Lifestyle Disorder or getting OLD, for short.:o)
I had exactly the same problem this year - first time ever! I also 'lost' a year.
Not if I can avoid it.
75 next July,groan.
No because my younger sister takes great delight in reminding me
We had this the other week when my OH was adamant he was a year younger than he is. Such pleasure pointing it out!!
my o/h used to delight in telling me i was 41 when i was only 40, he would say you are in your 41st year, correct i guess but irritating.
That's the same rubbish I get :-) I'm 10 months older than him and he tells people he's my toyboy!
But at least I remembered my age!

Should have kept my trap shut though, he was looking at holidays for his 45th b'day.
No. I know 50 is looming. In a way I’m in a hurry to get there so I don’t have to think about it any more.
I think I'm 24...

Body tells me repeatedly I'm 64 :-(
Never! Age is all but a number , it’s how you live your life that counts, you can either stand still or pile it all in, I do the latter, I was 73 two weeks ago, does it concern me? No way
I have outlived both my parents , so it is a win win, yippee.
