A woman over 30 will never wake you in the middle of the night to ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think.
If a woman over 30 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do. And, it's usually something more interesting.
A woman over 30 knows herself well enough to be assured in who she is, what she is, what she wants and from whom.
Few women past the age of 30 give a damn what you might think about her or what she's doing.

Women over 30 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you, if they think they can get away with it.

A woman over 30 has the self-assurance to introduce men to her friends. A younger woman with a man will often ignore even her best friend because she doesn't trust the guy with other women. Women over 30 couldn't care less if you're attracted to her friends because she knows her friends won't betray her.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 30. They always know.

A woman over 30 looks good wearing bright red lipstick. This is not true of younger women.
Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 30 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one! You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed hot woman of 30+, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year-old waitress. A xXx

dont believe the hype about women over 30!!
Woooooooooo ! Come on the thirty somethings !!!!!!!!! I turned thirty last October and I was dreading it because I felt as if it was 'Game over' but far from it and no , i'm not just making excuses for getting older. In my teens I was a wee mouse and couldn't quite manage to say the word NO to a lot of people but now I am brimming with confidence and have no hesitation in telling people exactly how I feel. I try things now i'd have been too scared to do when I was younger and am more confident in my own skin. Now I know what I want and can say to people this is what I want and how I want it so give it to me right here , right now , like this. Life is good at 30 x
Just re-read my post and how that last bit sounded. Sadly , still haven't managed to engage brain before posting !
I'm going to be 30 in January. I don't feel any different to how I did when I was 18. I don't want to be all grown up and dignified. Where's the fun in that???x

I don't think I could be grown up & dignified if my life depended on it!

I feel the same as I did at 16 and hopefully I'll feel the same when I'm nearly 40/50/60!

when I was just about to turn 30 , I look at my husband and I thought to myself , do I really want to grow old with this person , I thought long and hard and I decied no I dont , I told him , long story , sad story , but it had a good ending .
A woman at 30 may have all the 2,4 kids , bought home , own car nice job ect ..but may not be happy within herself , I belive at the age of 30 she should decied to either say well this is my lot , or change it .
I changed it
Im now 38 , I have a new hubby {another long and very romatic story if your into that kinda crap }.
I live in a differant town , have new friends and I am so much happier than what I was when I was 29 .
I do belive that a woman who is not happy within herself at 30 will change her life for the better , she has the power and the knowlage to do so .
33, unmarried, no kids, having a wonderful time and enjoying the confidence that comes with age.

It's soooooooooooooo true. Us wimin do gain confidence as we get older. It's kinda fcuked up, innit? Surely it should be the other way around and we should have the confidence when we're young and beautiful and have the world eating out of our hands?
wow,pretty impressive!
Really enjoyed reading this post, and a number of my friends are 30 and over, and I must say this applies to the most of them.

Only thing is, are you therefore saying that women under 30 do all these things?!!! As I am 24 and I can honesty say I have not any of the things you say I will stop doing in 6 years time! But still, cracking post petes_dragon! x
Fantastic, love this! I'm 27 but mentally 30 I've decided!
So true! I blubbed my way through my 30th b'day thinking of all the things I hadn't achieved and how it was all downhill from there on. How wrong I was. Wouldn't want to be in my 20's again. Don't know what it is, but something does change in your 30's and it's all for the better.
I agree claireb! I wouldn't want to go back to my teens or 20's for all the money in the world.

I have found my place in life, with the right partner. I can't wait to get to 40 (only 18 months to go)

Thanks, petes_dragon ~ a great post!
