It may surprise some to learn that there's no such thing as Bastille Day in France! Over the sleeve today, our nearest neighbours are officially celebrating "La Fète Nationale" or, much more commonly these days, "La Fête du 14 Juillet". So, if you really wanted to wish a French person Happy Bastille Day, you'd say something like "Bonne fète nationale!" But they won't be saying that to each other. It's just not something they wish each other.
