My grandson arrived at 6.48am! All well. My daughter had forceps to help delivery. 7lb9oz. Lovely weight. Can't wait to meet him later! We've all had a cry, with relief mainly! He's gorgeous!....xx

All well. Daughter very weary, but very happy and relieved as we all are. Said she can't wait for me to meet him. I cant wait to meet him! I think they've settled on names. I'll tell you later. Thank you so much for all your good wishes..xx

I've just wet the babby's head with a cup of tea - too early for anything stronger !

Don't beat the door down at visiting time, you'll need to wait for ward door to be opened!

Oh well done that new mum, great result , healthy baby , healthy ( but knackered) mum and delighted grandmother. ( thank goodness your daughter was not walking about for over a week with ruptured membranes ). That would have been a big deal :-(
