Don't know .... I would have to go and get the book to find out and I can't be bothered. Something about Perseus though. .. so I'll make it up. Once upon a time there was this bloke called Perseus who decapitated the Gorgon Medusa .... she of the snake hair .... and managed to do it without being turned to stone by her stoney gaze ....
