Saturday. Wonders will never cease. It's not raining! Some cloud about though. I hope it stays dry, I'm on the canal all day, in the visitor center, so some sunshine would be nice. As usual, I will go to Thornbury to pick my mate up. I might use the country lanes instead of the A38, just for a change.

Can't think of anything else, not awake yet!

Good Morn Boaty Danny / Mikey, I'n sure the UFO is going to show today, very mild here, having a shopping trip to Bolton Today going to give the Bench & varnishing a rest for a day, I intend to put 8 coats with a rub down of each coat, that should be ready for it's return on Wed all being well, what's the plans for today campers?

A friend of mine came over yesterday Boaty he suffers with Parkinson's, he was telling me he was having a run down his local Leeds / Manchester Chanel yesterday, for whatever reason he got off, had a little walk the attempted to get back on the Mobility Scooter, he tripped but still controlled the scooter, he said he was heading for the Chanel, we both started laughing when he said at least I can swim, he was a driver like myself, it horrible to see how his life has turned, but he gets on with it.

That's a rotten affliction TWR. I've seen it so many times. I hope your mate realises mobility scooters can't swim! :o}

The young albas went to a mate's house last night, so dunno when I'll see them today.
Got Mr Alba's fishing permit yesterday (one customer looked at me as if I had 2 heads - his mother would be so proud.
Mr Alba came home and announced he was working this weekend. Ho-hum :-))

Out last night, the person I was with having the strangest dessert - how about curried yoghurt and soft cucumber on caramel - the caramel with the curry coming through was delish. The rest of the dinner was excellent....
