Dave : "Could you clear up your dog's poo from my lawn, please?"

Well Dressed Middle Class Woman : "I don't have any bags with me"

D : "I'll get you one"

WDMCW : "It wasn't my dog anyway - it was already there, he was just sniffing"

D : (points at window) "OK - I'll just check the CCTV and see whose dog it was - thanks"

WDMCW : (looks at blinking green light) (produces bag and picks up dog droppings)

[ it isn't even a camera - it's a wifi repeater that happens to be best placed in an upstairs window & has a flashing green power light ]

smiley dave :+)

People like her shouldn't own animals.
Well done Dave!. She wasn't going to pick it up was she?...
cctv is a wonderful thing, as are mobile phone cameras when it comes to having a discourse with an owner of a pooch ;-)

I've seen her before (and cleared up a huge pile of ordure which I was sure came from her ghastly mutt) - but never caught her 'in flagrante'.

I have actually got a CCTV camera and may point it at that bit of lawn for a while now ...
//"I don't have any bags with me"//

looks like it's going to be hands on job then ...

You're lucky she wasn't a Badly Dressed Working Class Woman: your 'camera' would now have a record of how you lost your left testicle and sunny outlook.
" but never caught her 'in flagrante'."

You mean she was doing it as well as the dog Dave.

That's the next village, sqad - we is gentrified here ... possibly
sqad, she was doing it with the dog :-))))
LOL.
So , what would you have done , if she had refused ?
Question Author
I was the soul of politeness, snags - accepted her reply as 100% truthful ...

... but it's true - I may not have challenged the large scary bloke with the pitbull on a string ... mainly because he's a nice chap who clears up impeccably :)

Nothing Baz - it was all a polite bluff.

Anyway Dave .

I think you were a bit forward , instructing a 'Middle Class Woman' to pick up her dog manure
I remember a case around our neck of the woods a few years ago. Two women on the common walking their dogs and one of them didn't pick her dog's mess up. So the other woman very annoyed at this, told her to pick it up. With that, t'other woman picked dog poo up and threw it in her face! Aggghhhhh!
I would have been tempted to found out where she lived, and any future deposits would have found their way home, with interest! (Don't ask!)
Well done Dave, nicely bluffed!
well done Dave - - - I had

woman: o your door is open and my husband ....
PP. I cant see you very well
woman o I live over the way and I am locked out
PP I cant see you but that doesnt matter - there is always the CCTV !
woman I think I will check the house again ....

later I said to the husband - I guessed who he was a bit - I was a bit short with your wife - she said she had been locked out by you Sunday

and he commented - oh did I !

Absolutely brilliant ! I saw a woman the other day letting her dog poo and obviously had no intention of cleaning up and then she saw me and apparently she had used all her bags and did I have a spare one - of course I did !!
Good for you Dave.
