only smoked it in my youth when I had long hair. Not even smoked ciggies in over 20 years but legalisation would regulate the strength and quality of cannabis, both of which varied considerably when I was buying it from dodgy geezers on street corners in council estates. However excessive taxation would be a temptation I fear would be given in to by any government, driving a flourishing black market as we have with counterfeit cigarettes.
I wonder if there is a way to get the pain relief essence of cannabis into tablet form. Perhaps governments and pharma companies are too scared of the associations with cannabis to research it further. I don't like the idea of my mum smoking it to get pain relief - she wouldnt anyway - but it might be good if she could get a pill.
Cloverjo - there is a company that is trying to do that. It is a British company but I can`t remember who it was (it featured on a TV programme that I watched in the US)
I used to make chocolate truffles with cannabis resin. They helped tremendously with pain and insomnia. When I had to move in with my parents to look after them, I lived too far away from the person I bought it from, so haven't been able to use it for years. The pain is now far worse than it used to be, and if the chance arose, I would definitely use it again.
Never. I don't need it. My life is pretty good so I don't need anything to "get me through ". Maybe if my life were empty and meaningless, I might be that stupid.
Think I'm getting a bit old for that. Dislike smoking anyway so almost certainly not. But if you are making a hash curry I might accept the invite ;-).
