Not a question but wanted to share our good news with you all...
Our daughter and son-in-law were approved for adoption yesterday :-)
After thinking we would never have a grandchild there will be a little boy to spoil sometime in 2014.
so it's not the daughter and son-in-law being adopted-out, it's that they've been approved to adopt.
This always happens. Everbody else understands what was meant 'just like that' and Mr Pedantic, here, ends up looking stoopid.... Again. But it's not about me.
Wonderful news, masma! I'm glad you realise it's a protracted process - two friends have just "received" their little boy, after months of red tape and necessary bureaucracy. A joy to them now, and may it be to you and yours next year!
Eccles - they were asked not long ago what sex and age they would prefer, they said they didn't mind but a boy would be lovely so that's what is being kept in mind for them. Also.. as most adoptees opt for babies they would like to give a home to an older child (3-5 years).
