Good evening, everyone.

It's been a very sad week for me, as I've spent much of it searching for my beloved Tablo, whom I've not seen since last Saturday evening. I've done all of the usual things, such as leafletting all of the houses around, posting on lots of Facebook groups, checking with the vets' surgery etc, as well as spending hours walking around the streets and calling her name, but all to no avail. I still hope that she'll turn up one day soon but I'm now very much doubting it, alas :(

I'll use concentrating on looking for Tablo as a (rather poor) excuse for my not-so-brilliant score of just THREE out of seven in the main quiz this week:

Somehow or other though, I managed to achieve a maximum FIVE out of five in the junior quiz!

Your turn!

Thanks, Anne.

No, Tablo is very much a home-loving cat and usually sleeps on top of me when I'm in bed at night.  Just like her two brothers, she won't go near to any other humans; I'm the only one that she trusts.

Like a lot of females we get waylaid, but she will return to you soon .
what are the brothers saying ?

Question Author

^^^ Her brothers are simply saying "All the more food for us!"

😺

' that's men ' .
everything crossed .

Question Author

>>> "everything crossed"

That must be extremely uncomfortable for you!

(Thanks anyway though!)

No disasters this week, anyway, Rocky!

Sorry to hear about Tablo, Chris. Hope you are re-united before long.

A very decent 6/7 and a middling 3/5 - the Barbie question certainly threw me.

Question Author

I would have though that someone called Ken really ought to be an expert on Barbie!

Well  done on going to the top of the table and thank you for your kind words about darling Tablo.

1/7, 5/5. Hoping for better news of Tablo soon.Bailey was properly fat shamed by the lovely vet this week, he's back to 8kg. She very kindly said he must have a very slow metabolism. Am avoiding telling the boys I am off to Lanzarote for a week on Monday.

Well done on joining the Perfect Kids' Club this week, Campbellking!

I've not weighed Chequers lately (as I've not got a fork lift truck to lift him onto the scales!) but I reckon that he's well over 9kg.  He seems to be happy enough at that weight though, so I'm not really bothered about it (except, possibly, when he sleeps on top of me at night!)

I hope that you'll make an extra special fuss of Puss Puss and Bailey before you leave on your hols - and even more fuss of them when you return!

Thanks for your kind thoughts about Tablo.

well this hopes helps Chris - some times ago one neighbour came round from the next estate crying for her little kittie.

I went on to AB and can't remember who told me - to put on outside in your garden - a can of Tunafish and if you can twirl it around some how - hopefully little cat will smell that and you get her back.  good luck Chris

Question Author

Thanks, JJ.

I'll keep trying everything to find her.

Wow! Something is very wrong Chris. 6/7 and 5/5. A few guesses in there. Maybe have a punt on the Lotto!

Sad news about your pussycat. I've heard of this happening before, quite a few times actually. The cat goes out as normal, never to be seen again. Other than what you've already done, there's not much else is there Chris? Except hope. We'll see.

I hope Tablo returns safe and sound.

Chris the lady I was telling you about - her cat came back after a week and half.  So keep up with tuna fish and perhaps his toys and some washing of your own hanging on a washing line and keep on calling him.

'Satisfactory' scores (just!) from you this week, I'd say, Kwillmott.

Thanks for your comment about Tablo.

Thanks, JJ.  I've not given up hope yet!

Flaming 'eck, 10CS!  Very well done indeed on your near-perfect performance this week.  I hope that your luck holds on the lottery too, as I've already drafted my begging letter to you 😄

Thanks for your kind words about Tablo.
