Shingles, nasty thing.
FIL had shingles about 2-3 weeks ago, cream and anti-bugs soon sorted him out and he'd crusted nicely inside a week of these meds.
(He's diabetic too amongst other things)

Awww Alba - I had them when I was 11/12 and I don't remember anything apart from it being itchy, but since Friday/Saturday I have felt generally rotten

I don't get it. If no rash, how do you suspect shingles?

If you feel up to it and can cover any rash. Shingles is passed on (the receivers get chicken pox not shingles) by shedding from the rashy poxed areas. If you work in healthcare then you need to get advice from your occy health department.
