People who are severely allergic to nuts can go into anaphylaxis from unprotected sex if the other party has consumed them ie Brazil Nuts. I think that's a very interesting factoid. Does that surprise you NoMercy?

Do you know that people who have nut allergies can still consume nut oils? Oil is 100% pure fat whereas the component that triggers an allergic reaction is protein.

Yes that's what we were led to believe NoM (re protein in nut oils)- however my wife ate somthing cooked in nut oil and had a bout of anaphylaxis from which she nearly died- jabbed herself with her epi pen til we got her to hospital but it was a very close thing- so I will happily argue that one.

I`m with Nox. Daughter cooked for me using groundnut oil. [Think she`d seen the will] Seconds later it was out with the epi pen and all the drama that follows.
