I'll have to remember that excuse when I next go to a job interview, SB1!
("Sorry about giving you all of the wrong answers. I thought that I was at a different interview"!)

I usually score 3 or 4 (with a fair bit of guessing), so your [revised] score is quite reasonable in my opinion!
Guess it does look a bit odd Chris! My username was one of many nicknames we had for our lovely black cat, now sadly no longer with us.
The avatar is the dog we got after Bruno died. Didn't want to get one while we still had him, he definitely wouldn't have approved!
Well I didn't do it twice or I would have known all the right answers! So my excuse was a valid one. (nah-nah-na-nah nah and sucks to you)

Thanks for your reply, Slinkycat.

Most of my feline friends have had 'Roman' names. e.g. 'Caesar' (obvious), 'Marcus' (from Marcus Aurelius) and 'Gussie' (from Caesar Augustus, but with associations to Gussie Finknottle, from the works of P G Wodehouse, as well). However my current moggie is simply called 'Noisy' because (like 'Slinkycat) the name describes her perfectly!

SB1:
Well, if we're going to get into childish taunts ("nah-nah- . . etc"), it's my thread so I'm definitely king of the castle, while you're the dirty rascal!
;-)
(Oh, that takes me back around half a century!)
Over half a century for me Chris! And my excuse is I am in my second childhood.
Question Author
Oh dear, SB1. I feel sorry for you if you're now in your second childhood.

We lucky ones have never left our first childhood ;-)
Actually I may be in my fourth childhood, have lost the ability to work that one out.
Question Author
I'm also losing the ability to count, SB1, but it's probably got as much to do with my consumption of alcohol as it has to do with my antiquity ;-)
(I've been a good lad all week and not touched a drop since Sunday, but I finally succumbed to the temptation tonight).

So (since I've reached the end of the final can) it's probably time to go to bed ;-)

Goodnight everyone!
5 for me too
I join the 4/7 club this week , and that is with a couple of lucky guesses !

I had 5/7 as well, that included a couple of guesses

Oooh, I see that we've had some extra participants since I went to bed last night!

There are obviously a lot of 'brain boxes' about on AB. 4 is around my usual score, Flump, so I've got to say that's good ;-)

Rowanwitch and Marval have matched me this week (so they must have had an equal amount of luck!), while Pixi is showing us all up with a brilliant 6. Well done!
