Romance is different things to different people.  A big elaborate wedding is not romantic to me in any way - eloping would be.  He knows I don't like huge elaborate  bouquets, but do like the wild daffs from  the field behind that have been flattened by the wind and might die.  We know each other well!  The three magic words don't matter if you know someone well.

He also knows that I would run off with Daniel Craig or James Norton given half a chance! ;0)

sddsddean @ 10.21 I don't know why, but that made me laugh out loud. ðŸ˜„

Finally got a date for Valentine's Day

It's a court appearance, but I get to dress up!

Piggy //I met my lovely wife( well common in law) in a Madrid bar 17 years ago!//

'Of all the bars in all the world'😀

Actually that should say,

"Of All The Gin Joints In All The Towns In All The World, She Walks Into Mine."

13.35 so is it porridge for you?

Roses are red, violet's are blue,

Dressed, in court, and ready to be sued,

Maggiebee must be well and truly in the poo.

I met my wife in 1959. We both worked for the same printing company, and we were both  in the same department, but it was a large room, and she worked at the opposite end to me. We had noticed each other since we started work there, but never took much notice. I don't know why, but she suddenly attracted my attention, and I started to ask her out. She declined for a while, but I kept chasing her. I had to do my National Service not long after I started asking her out, and now we both say that absence makes the heart grow fonder for she eventually succumbed to my invitation, and we're still together after 60 years.

13.30 I can't say, piggynose, but let's just say some things are more important than justice!
