I just found the place where I am going for an interview tomorrow my supervisor works there and her partner still does. Would that be awkward?

You mean your supervisor used to work there.

You clearly need to be careful about what you say and think about how you'll respond to a conversation about why you are now working only 9 hours instead of  30 hours per week.

I doubt they'll recognise you unless they happened to be working on the odd occasion you turned up.

Just tread carefully Abbey. that's all you can do.

Doug I'll say bot enough hours

Don't think through all these things, Abbey.  Go for your interview with a clear head - I'm praying for a clear head🤣

Weren't you due in Home Bargains tomorrow, abbey?   Have you rung in sick for tomorrow at HB yet?

Question Author

No because it before I start at HB

No, it should not be awkward. This was not of your making so treat it the same as a chance meeting and make polite conversation, and carry on with your business.

I thought Abbey meant it could be awkward because they'll know her current care home reduced her hours by nearly 70% beca⁶use they felt she wasn't up to it. But of course it isn't clear from abbey's posts what she means. Maybe she gets so much attention she assumes everyone knows every detail of her life and what she's thinking
