Yes, I thought it was a stunt at first but obviously not.

It's no use to them, they can't sell it, pointless.

Sadly that Fiesta could be in a shipping container at Harwich docks by now.  :-(

As far as I know it was in one of those egg shaped car transporters, so maybe the thieves didn't know what they were stealing.

Probably broken up for parts

Sometimes you just have to get a grip, man up and know that life isn't fair.

Puts the whole Gaza thing in perspective eh?

Theiving scum, the rabs have the right idea, chop their kin germans off.

Do that here and some would steal just to live a lifetime on disability benefits

Back in the day, Ford only made one key that fitted their entire range; I remember accidently getting into the wrong Granada in a multi story car park – and a colleague of mine who has accidently locked the keys in his car, solved the problem by asking passersby if they owned a Ford, and would unlock the car for him.

I had a MK3 cortina that you could start with anything that would fit in the barrel!

Back in the 80s I was issued with a set of jigglers. They were made of stainless stell cutlery blades and could open almost all car locks and most steering locks except Niemann and Simplex . The Ford range used FT keys and BMC or Leyland used predominanantly FS. I still have them somewhere. We were also issued with two winklers for sliding down the window seals and lift the mushrooms inside

I've opened a few cars with the mushroom buttons.  Nylon parcel strapping was ideal.

And they say being handy at snooker is a sign of a misspent youth
