If you want to know the name of the top lawyer who advised Kier Starmer in relation to the Sun article, listen to this youtube video which includes LBC’s Andrew Castle asking just that question (who the top lawyer is) of Robert Jenrick (MP).

Am I not correct in thinking that the loony left are happy to see the country inundated by immigrants & to thwart any initiative to remove them regardless of the consequences, in order to make the government look ineffective on the issue & aid Labour into power at the next election?

you are not correct. even if they wanted to the "loony left" does not have enough power to thwart a government with such a large majority in parliament... they are managing that all by themselves.
