And another attack in 2016
How is the War on Terror going?
The terrorists have the upper hand,Gromit.Whether Islamist terrorist or so-called right wing terrorists.
So the War on Terror is bogus.
That was always my opinion. A war that no one has ever won, because it was futile and unwindable.
Wasnt WW2 a war on terror,Gromit.It wasnt unwinnable,it was won,thankfully.

I say the future is bleak because of the reaction to this (terrorist imo) attack. Violence on the streets of Paris between the Kurds and the Police and Kurds and Turks.

Apparently the Kurds after dispersing have now regrouped and gathered in even larger numbers.
If we refer to France-24 ( You tube) you get a more French view,
manifestations par les immigres dans les rues ou l'attentat s'est passe - etc

white fella let off a gun and killed three Kurds as they sat in a cafe. He has been arrested with minor injuries. Already known to the police
Immigrant demosin support ( of the victim) or against ( violence towards immigrants)

No wonder they sent so many to us !
Why was he released?
How come he can slash folk with a sword last year and be out on les rues? Are the French even more incompetent than our lot when it comes to their so-called justice system?
DTC; you can't stop this sort of thing, even if you lock up any iffy character that crosses your path. Why do you belittle our own police and security services? Were you perfect at your job? And did it matter if you weren't?
Multiculturalism does not work. People want to live side by side with their own kind, end of.
"End of" really means "End of any thoughtful input approaching." It means, "I've said something, so shut your face."
Dave is right to an extent. ‘Colour’ prejudice is very often not about colour at all but about culture.
"People want to live side by side with their own kind, end of. "

Some do. Many don't.
The whole "multiculturalism" debate is often pursued on very shallow, generalistic grounds. Countries that have taken the above approach often have not turned out too well. But like I say, it's not a subject that sits well with sweeping generalisations, one way or the other.
