Our local council says that nothing under 5 cm in size should ever be placed into a recycling bin. I've not got a Quality Street wrapper handy to measure bit I've got a feeing that they won't be big enough for recycling here, irrespective of what they're made of.

Dads wouldn't show much/any affection for kids back in the day. But mine always made us a kaleidoscope on Christmas Day out of the tube in a kitchen roll and some of those wrappers. Simple times, simple pleasures.
