Admiral Sir William Wordsworth Fisher?
I heard him say Sir William Wordsworth poet laureate - wondered about that - then did a bit of one of his poems (which I didn’t recognise)
He wasn't "Sir" as far as I know but plainly he was referring to the poet in that case.

Maybe just my imagination but I thought HE looked a bit put out at not getting the gig in the Abbey.
They wheeled Dimbers out for later, which I thought was nice.
He had a lot of time to fill.
Yes, we thought we heard him say that. He's had a hard 10 days, so entitled to the odd slip.
like the BBC news presenter John Kay, who kept on referring to
the Queens Consort, when it should be Queen Consort. It grated after a while..
someone said that the ritual went back to the Magna Carta which was signed in the 1300s
( at least he didnt say - as everyone knows...)

I do email the beeb about their most egregious mistakes
( = mistakes that even an ABer wd notice and ridicule)

I am nost sure if I have kept any

"0945 "There is a long corridor (in the Palace, the locus mortis so to speak like Boris) draped in black" - said the beeb fluffy ( to effusive thanks by another fluffy, both famous for 15 m and hoping to famous for MUCH longer)

"and there is an altar at the end.... " "

Christ, setting up an altar ( moveable of course: they do exist) to the Dead Queen in one of the Palaces?
I REALLY dont think so. 1540, reformation, no funerary masses.....

shrine then? aaaaargh

communion table - nope no communion in a corridor

table then

The head of Religion at the Beeb is Ali Maqbool ( yup you guessed it) - not Christian, atheist and marxist so admirable suited for the post....

and in another excoriating ( slashing even) email I reminded the Beeb the hacks in the burnt shell of Notre Dame ( Paree that is!) didnt know the difference between a cross or a crucifix ( " clue: one has a man nailed onto it" I cruelly sniggered)
Sky News auto caption generator changed ‘Great Abbey’ to ‘grey tabby’.
the pony formerly known as Emma is according to Sky "MR", the better to sound like a DJ.
