Meat loaf has passed away age 74..lovely man very sad

Sad news. I was very fond of Mr Loaf.

I fear that 2022 is turning into 2016 with the revelations of yet another death of a popular figure on an almost weekly basis.... :o(

Saw "the Loaf" on the BOOH2 tour in (about) '94. Bloody awful show, but in fairness, we had terrible seats at the back row of Wembley Arena, so the atmosphere had completely dissolved long before it hit us.

That unfortunate event aside, both BOOH and Dead Ringer were big albums in my younger, more rockier years. He was the perfect foil for Jim Steinman's pomp and will be missed, as much for his personality than for his music, which peaked decades ago. RIP, Mr Aday. Heaven has gained another (rock) God.
