This is akin to inhabiting an alternative universe”

That’s rather what I was thinking :-)
Some say 14,some say 9.Glad that you are happy defending "mr sleepy cuddles".But if that is what gets you off, hope you can sleep at night. Many of his victims probably wont.
TCL @22.17 ,ynnafymmi is not the sharpest knife in the box , perhaps if you humour him, it might go away.
"It's" a "she".
Even Brays own constituency don't agree with him as they voted by a big margin to leave. Maybe that's why he stays in London. If he feels that strongly about the EU he could always move there.
I thought it was well established that a to some surprisingly large percentage of SNP voters voted for Brexit.
It’s not really surprising at all if you think about it. But I’m not sure what it’s got to do with anything
So, a third of SNP membership voted for Brexit how many of them would vote for an independent Scotland? I suspect none, unless they are stupid.
SNP voters, not members
There is a difference.
Look at it like this:
A lot of people in Scotland vote SNP
A lesser number, but still a lot, voted for Brexit.
A lot of people who want an Independent Scotland actually do, despite what some seem to think, also support Scoland leaving the EU. It's not a huge leap of imagination to grasp that.
After the referendum, of course, when Scotland had voted convincingly to remain, while England and Wales had not, and we were leaving anyway, that was of course a huge rallying cry for the SNP. Quite understandably so even if like me you believe that the UK is better united, especially if it is outside the EU
ichy; Anyone who would vote for Brexit AND independence must be incredibly naïve or stupid: to have both is the dystopian option for Scotland.
Plainly, it must follow that there are a lot of people who support an independent Scotland outside the EU.
I am surprised you seem to think an independent Scotland would be better off in the EU, but I agree with you :-)
He’s our MP is Nige and he’s getting my vote, just for that!
"A lesser number, but still a lot, voted for Brexit. "

That isn't true of course (more voted for Brexit I should t4hink than vote SNP, without checking), but what I suppose I mean is that a lot of peoplel voted for Brexit :-)
