On my way home at 4 pm I passed 2 gritters on the road. Think we might be in for a frosty night on the east coast.

No gritters here,
Black Ice Matters!
We normally get it after you Maggie , our local forcast said we'd get a hard frost on the 25th
Rain & local floods!
Good one, Nailit:)
Current Met Office weather warnings for the east coast of Scotland (or, more specifically, Aberdeen):

It's been rain that's causing problems around here in Suffolk. The two main routes between where I live and the largest main town (Ipswich) both easily get flooded when we have a lot of rain. So I have to remember to take a detour, by driving 4 miles in the wrong direction to start with, if I want to avoid any problems.
I hear that they have some really tough guys working on the gritting lorries in your part of the world, Maggie ;-)

Take care up there, Maggie!

It's been very mild in London around 12degs. I popped into Lidl earlier for some bits and bobs and was sweating by the time I got home. Walked there and back.

The Polar Bear Explorer and The Snow Buster are two of the Dundee gritters. Not sure if I saw both of them or one of them twice. Anyway, they're doing a great job.
Tigs, the BBC says it will be 5 degrees tomorrow and the 25th. I hope you've asked Santa for warm clothes

The Snow Buster and The Plougher O'Scotland are currently between Douglas & Angus and Ballumbie, whereas Polar Bear Explorer is roughly between Wellbank and Newbiggin:
