His outfits have to be seen to be believed. Today he had reddy/orange jacket, white shirt, navy trousers and a green hanky in his pocket.
Where does he get his dress sense? Or is it done deliberately for television?

He's certainly a one off with his clothes sense, interesting though.
He's just a dedicated follower of fashion. :-)

Boom boom!!
I don't know what he'd doing on TV just now, Caran but I do know that when he's been travelling he often wears colours that match the flag of the country he's in.
he's not he'd.
Like many who dress eccentrically,he gets away with it.
No point in having a colour telly if there is no colour on it.

You recovering well, Shoota?
Slowly, thank you G, I suspect I am a victim of 'long covid'.
Oh that's a pain....was going to use a sweary word. That's the worry for many people getting over the virus. I hope it's not too long for you, Shoota...x
I was speaking to my sister about Portillo's outfits the other day and I mentioned the fact he often appeared to wear the colours of that country's flag.

She telt me she seen a bit about him in the paper and he says he dresses normally outwith the programme.

God knows what like the locals think he looks.
There was an article in a magazine about his outfits and he does dress deliberately to stand out!
He also wears his clothes at least one size too small.
it takes some getting used to, but he is just that little bit different, i love his train travel shows
Its his work clothes innit?
He couldn't turn up in overalls or a boring business suit.

i look forward to his trip to Belize
It's just on his railway programmes, and is a feature of the series.

If you watch him on other shows, he dresses normally.
