I've read the article but I can't make head or tail about why he thinks Britain is an "abusive lover"!

Interesting article and quite clear, thank you.

Commercially I am sure it will be a success.
I've read your link and he seems to speak fluent gobbledegook.

He's also got an album to sell.
I’d never heard of him, but yes, he’s got an album to sell.
Too long.
Reads like a description of his inner mental turmoil rather than anything else. Maybe he uses it to create his art.
I've seen a few of his movies and have found him to be an extremely capable actor, although i haven't got a Scooby about his music. Like the others, it's clear he's just trying to generate publicity for his album.
hope he does well with it but I won't be rushing out to buy it
I won't be buying it either, he's an activist and has spoken on these issues before, weaving his views into his music is not a new phenomenon - it's been done for decades.
Whoever he is he's achieved his aim, his face on a prominent website and people talking about him. Metaphorically, tomorrow's chip paper.
They do get full of themselves, some of these arty folks, innit?
They do when reporters from the Entertainment & Arts sections seek their views out, yes.
He should try writing a song about Universal Credit.
Perhaps he doesn't have as much inside knowledge on that topic?

You could pen something perhaps.
It appears to me that the cosy little melting pot of diversity he may of heard about in other song has not come up to his expectations in the UK.
// Ahmed has also made a separate accompanying short film. It delivers an even bigger jolt than the album.

In it, a British Asian family are preparing for a wedding when they are rounded up by state forces wearing balaclavas and St George's crosses as white neighbours watch from behind twitching curtains - with clear echoes of the treatment of Jews in Germany in World War Two.//

The man's a pillock. More than that, his thoughts (if indeed that's what they are) are insulting to the Jews who did suffer in WW2. Even if he has an album to sell he has no right to make such comparisons.

If it's so terrible for him here he has an easy remedy - he can take a flight to Karachi or Islamabad and start a new life there. Plenty of Pakistanis do that in reverse so it can't be that difficult.

yeah life israeli arabs going back there ( to israel that is! )and having a good time there ! ?
i,peccable AB logic again

oh there are israeli arabs ( landed ) who are different very different to palestinian refugees ( dispossessed people in sort of Gaza) - jsut in case anyone is confused some arabs stayed when israel sort of came into being 1948 and they turned into israeli arabs
well I see Gaza and think of prison cities pioneered by the Germans in Ostland ( the east that is! no one just no one wanted to go there) in 1941. Lwow was certainly one - Lodz ( woodge ) may have been another

someone lived down a sewer for two years in Lwow
a baby was born and they had to chuck it into the flowing 'water' as he was crying and tghreatening to give them all away
