Oh I know, Corby..... we get everywhere don’t we? :-)
Astonishing match (the cricket) - now bring on The Ashes !!!
I feel privileged to have watched the tennis final today. Wimbledon has hosted some great finals through the years but i doubt i will see a better one than that served up by the numbers 1 and 2 seeds. Though i had backed my man Djoko to win 3-1, i just knew it was heading for a fifth set. Some on here don't seem to like Djokovic but they cannot deny he is the best in the world right now. He just never knows when he is beaten. Lesser players would have buckled under the Federer pressure and the biased spectators. Just a shame there had to be a loser. Though both men are winners in my book. It will be a sad day for tennis when the Fed retires .
//Someone described yesterday's final as "great" but yesterdays was a damp squib compared to today.//

Interestingly the camera zoomed in on te "match duration" clock at 52 minutes. That was when the ladies finished their "great" final. The men had just changed ends half way through their first set tie break and had just four hours and five minutes left to play.

Perhaps even those at the Beeb are beginning to think they are being short-changed by the Ladies. Sorry to harp on but it's a bloody disgrace that the Misses Williams and Halep got cheques for the same amount as Messrs Federer and Djokovic.
NJ, perhaps if the men are unhappy with the money, they should show that by refusing to participate? I wonder if many would do that?
